Anesthesia for Obstetrics and Gynecology - Anesthesia for Cesarean Delivery
The anesthetic technique for cesarean delivery must be planned according to the urgency of the delivery. Indications may be either maternal (eg, prior cesarean delivery, arrest of labor, failed induction, placental or uterine pathology) or fetal (eg, malpresentation, concern for fetal well-being).
