The Anesthesia Machine - Safety Features
audible oxygen alarm
An audible oxygen alarm is fitted in the oxygen supply line of the high-pressure system. It will sound when the pressure in the supply line is greater than 0 and less than 30 psi. Traditionally this was a reed or whistle, but is now commonly electronic.
