Anesthesia for Thoracic Surgery - Intrapulmonary Hemorrhage
Massive hemoptysis may be caused by thoracic trauma, pulmonary artery rupture secondary to catheterization, or erosion into a vessel by a tracheostomy, abscess, or airway tumor.
