- After any therapeutic intervention, the patient must be re-evaluated to assess response to therapy, interval changes, and development of complications.
- Procedures or products that are infrequently used are best managed using a local protocol or guideline to facilitate standardized, optimal care (eg, inhaled nitric oxide, heliox).
