- Evaluate need for airway.
- Evaluate need for supplemental oxygen or support of breathing.
-  Evaluate and support circulation.       - Focus on identifying specific bacteria.
- Localize the site of primary infection.
 
- Obtain cultures and quickly start antibiotics.
