First Things First (assess & treat for the following)
- Definition: mean pulmonary artery pressure >25 mmHg, systolic pulmonary pressure >35, diastolic pulmonary pressure >15
- Determine cause. See below.
- Avoid:
- Hypoxemia
- Hypercarbia
- Acidosis
- Hypothermia
