Deliberate Toxin Exposure
First Things First (assess & treat for the following)
- Cyanide toxicity
- Airway mgt
 
- ABCs of resuscitation
 
 - Organophosphate poisoning: pesticides & nerve gas agents (Tabun, Sarin, Soman, VX)
 - Does pt have any of the following?
- Respiratory failure: weakness of respiratory muscles, increased airway resistance or depression of respiratory centers
 
- Coma or seizures
 
- Arrhythmias
