SSRI Overdose
First Things First (assess & treat for the following)
- ABCs
- Airway: control secretions, mental status. If airway compromised, intubate.
- Breathing: if hypoxic, O2 supplementation
- Circulation: weak pulses, hypotension. Treat with fluids and/or pressors.
- Seizures: treat with benzodiazepines.
